Colts, Pacers Donate $125,000 Each to Indiana Flood Relief
The teams' combined gift, alongside contributions from the Fever and G League's Noblesville Boom, goes directly to American Red Cross relief efforts after deadly flooding across the state.
The Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers each donated $125,000 to flood relief efforts in Indiana, with the WNBA's Indiana Fever and the G League's Noblesville Boom also contributing, the teams announced Sunday before Indianapolis's training camp practice at Grand Park Sports Complex.
What prompted the donation?
Severe flooding across Indiana has killed at least seven people and displaced many residents. President Trump issued an emergency declaration covering more than half of the state's 92 counties.
Where is the money going?
The funds go directly to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts across the affected areas.
