Physical, reliable receiver who left San Francisco for Minnesota in 2026 after a career-best touchdown season.

Path to the league
A Cowan, Tennessee native, Jennings played for the Tennessee Volunteers from 2015 to 2019. The 49ers drafted him in the seventh round, 217th overall, in 2020. He developed slowly into a trusted target known for blocking and physical play, eventually becoming a dependable complementary receiver in San Francisco's offense.
Career highlights
Jennings built his value on toughness and reliability in San Francisco's passing game. His 2025 season produced career highs, headlined by nine touchdown catches. He started 15 games that year, establishing himself as more than a depth piece.
2025 season
After requesting a trade over a contract impasse, Jennings stayed with the 49ers and restructured his deal on September 3, 2025, adding incentives.
