Johnathan Baldwin II is a first-year defensive back who capped a productive UNLV career with a breakout senior season before going undrafted in 2025. He fought his way from a Packers roster cut back onto the active roster by the end of the year, getting his first taste of regular-season action.

Path to the league

Baldwin started his UNLV career as a backup in 2021 before winning the starting safety job in 2022. His tackle totals climbed every year, peaking with a senior-season line of 68 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, three interceptions, and 13 pass breakups in 2024, which earned him second-team All-Mountain West honors. He went unselected in the 2025 NFL Draft and signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent.
