How the prediction did
Predicted 17-23 (Texans vs Jaguars), final was 34-31. Miss. Houston won a shootout at Wembley the Jaguars' defense was supposed to prevent: C.J. Stroud threw for 312 yards and three touchdowns, Jaylin Noel had 107 receiving yards, and Ka'imi Fairbairn's 49-yard field goal in the fourth quarter decided it. Trevor Lawrence threw four touchdown passes in a loss. Jacksonville, which had allowed 70 points in five games, allowed 34.
Texans Jaguars Jacksonville is the more complete team
The league's best scoring defense and a 4-1 record built on four wins by 5 or more.
Houston's defense has been good all along
It has allowed 112 points in five games despite the record, so this is not a blowout projection.
A new receiver does not fix five weeks of offense in one week
Houston has topped 26 points once.
A Medium lean for the Jaguars as the designated home team.
