TJ Quinn is a Valdosta, Georgia native who followed his father Terry Quinn's path to Louisville, converting from safety to middle linebacker and becoming the heartbeat of the Cardinals' defense. He went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft and signed with the Green Bay Packers, projecting as a hybrid linebacker-safety at the next level.

★ 289 career tackles at Louisville
★ Led Louisville in tackles three straight seasons
★ Third-team All-ACC, 2025

Path to the league

Quinn committed to Louisville out of Lowndes High School in Valdosta, Georgia, where he was an all-region safety. He redshirted his first year with the Cardinals as a safety before converting to middle linebacker, a move that turned him into the team's leading tackler. Undersized at 225 pounds, he ran a 4.53-second 40-yard dash at his pro day, went undrafted in 2026, and signed with the Packers.

Career highlights

Quinn finished his Louisville career with 289 tackles, 5 sacks, 15 tackles for loss and 9 passes defended, leading the team in tackles in each of his final three seasons. That sustained production made him one of the more decorated tacklers in Louisville history despite never being a five-star recruit.

2025 season recap

Quinn's final Louisville season produced career highs in tackles, tackles for loss and interceptions, earning him Third-team All-ACC recognition. The performance was enough to draw a pre-draft visit from Green Bay, and after going unselected in the 2026 draft, he signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent.
