How the prediction did
Predicted 20-17 (Browns vs Jets), final was 12-17. Miss. The Browns' run of one-score wins ended with a one-score loss. Deshaun Watson went 15 of 33, Cleveland was 4 of 16 on third down and gained 198 yards, and Braelon Allen ran for 116 yards and the clinching touchdown in place of Breece Hall. The model projected the Jets at 17 and they scored exactly that.
Browns Jets New York's offense has stalled without Hall
Fifty-eight and then 157 total yards in its past two games.
Cleveland's defense keeps everyone under 25
Nineteen, 18 and 24 points allowed in the three wins.
The Browns win close
Four, 3 and 3; nothing about this team projects a comfortable margin.
A Medium road lean. Cleveland's margin of error is thin, but the Jets' offense is thinner.
